lyrics
Once when the wind was soft and scented
I heard the south calling,
I sailed and traveled endlessly
under a cumulus of strange stars
Once when the gentle rain fell
I glided in a barge down
a sunless stream under the earth
till I reached another world
Another world of purple twilight,
wander through iridescent arbours,
another world of purple twilight
floating above undying roses
And once I walked through the golden valley
that led to shadowy groves and ruins,
ended in a mighty wall with vines,
and pierced by a little gate of bronze
Many times I walked through that valley,
would I pause in the spectral half-light
where giant trees squirm and twist,
disclosing the stones of buried temples
I dissolved again into the infinity
Dragged into crystal oblivion
from which the daemon life had called me
for one brief and desolate hour

Very few albums have me physically shaking and grooving so quickly. Very few of the records that do are this heavy. This record... is something fucking else... Amazing. idiotcoward

I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic

I just found these guys and after celebrating Fearsick I immediately came here and had to buy this as well. It might eben be better than Fearsick but who cares. Both are phenomenally good. Old schoolish perfection with powerful modern production. Every song is a fucking killer. mourner
